A Place Passed By A Thousand Times
Oil and acrylic on paper on wood panel
24” x 24”
I start each piece with acrylic paint on paper. I then cut the paper into strips and glue them down, alternating between cutting the paper horizontally and vertically between each layer of adhesive. This creates a pixelated mosaic that I then mask out the lines on, paint the imagery with oil paint, and then finally sand the surface of the painting. This piece comes with a black wood floater frame.
